Final Fantasy IV
Final Fantasy IV, (originally released in America as Final Fantasy II in order to keep continuity) (ESRB: Teen) is a role-playing game and part of the Final Fantasy series, it was published in 1991 by Square. The game is about the adventures and journeys of the Dark Knight Cecil and his friends. This is the first game in the series to use the Active-Turn Battle system (ATB) where each character's turn is determined independently by a gauge. The game features a wide range of characters in relation to others in the series. The game contains sexuality, occult themes, transvestism and other suggestive material. Additionally, due to Nintendo of America's policies, content referring to Christianity was left out of the original American version, even though other things (such as Hindu deities) were left alone. Nintendo of America had a very strong anti-Christian policy from the Nintendo Entertainment System up to the Nintendo 64. The game has been ported to the PlayStation, the Game Boy Advance (as Final Fantasy IV Advance), and the PlayStation Portable.
