The Yoshi Doll is an item in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. It is a representation of the Yoshi character from the Mario franchise in the form of a toy.
The Yoshi Doll is a unique prize that Link can win the Trendy Game in Mabe Village, in which he has to use a crane to grab one of the prizes. The Yoshi Doll is surrounded by a rectangular conveyor belt, and sits in the exact center. In original versions of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, including The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, the text for obtaining the Yoshi Doll states that Yoshi has recently appeared in several games. In the Nintendo Switch remake, it says he has appeared in countless games.
The Yoshi Doll is an optional item used only during a trading quest for the Magnifying Lens. One of Mabe Village's inhabitants, Mamasha, wants to give the Yoshi Doll to her baby, and if Link agrees, he receives a Ribbon, the next item in the trading quest.
