Nintendo DS

The Nintendo DS is a video game system created by Nintendo. Its main features are its two screens (its name is an acronym for "Dual Screens") and the touch-sensitivity of the bottom screen. It was succeeded by the Nintendo 3DS in 2011.

The Nintendo DS later received a different model, the Nintendo DS Lite, which is slimmer, weighs less, and has a brighter screen. The Nintendo DS would later receive a second model, the Nintendo DSi (featuring a built-in internet browser, a digital store, and other featured). It first released in Japan in 2008 and then in North America, Europe, and Australia in 2009.
