Yoshi game appearances

Yoshi's Island series

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island

Baby Bowser and Kamek are the main antagonists of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. Baby Bowser is not seen until the end of the game, where he battles Yoshi in the playroom of Bowser's Castle. Baby Bowser attacks by Ground Pounding. Likewise, Yoshi can attack Baby Bowser by Ground Pounding him, and after doing this three times, Kamek arrives and uses his magic on Baby Bowser, who then becomes gigantic.

For the second part, Baby Bowser is fought outside the castle, slowly making his way toward Yoshi and Baby Mario. Baby Bowser can take damage from the Giant Eggs thrown by Yoshi. After a few hits, Baby Bowser returns to normal size and is defeated. He is last seen being carried away by Kamek.

Yoshi's Island DS

Aside from being an antagonist in Yoshi's Island DS, Baby Bowser can ride the Yoshis in some of the later levels, although he later betrays the Yoshis.

Yoshi's Story

Baby Bowser is also the antagonist of Yoshi's Story. He steals not only the Super Happy Tree, the source of happiness on Yoshi's Island, but also converts the entire island into a pop-up book.

Like before, Baby Bowser is the final boss. He is fought the last room of one of his four castles: Mecha Castle, Lift Castle, Magma Castle, or Ghost Castle, depending on the player's choice. For the battle, Baby Bowser rides around on ghosts, and Yoshi can attack Baby Bowser by throwing Bob-ombs at him. In a later part of the battle, Yoshi has to fight Baby Bowser on the ground. Baby Bowser is eventually defeated, and the Yoshis recover the Super Happy Tree.

Mario game appearances

Baby Bowser's first three appearances in the Mario franchise are only cameos. His first Mario appearance is in Mario Artist: Paint Studio, where Baby Bowser is one of the character stamps. In Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and later Mario Kart DS, an image of Baby Bowser is displayed on the "Bowser's Ship" attraction of Baby Park, though by Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Bowser Jr. is displayed instead.

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time

Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is the first Mario game where Baby Bowser appears as a villain, let alone physically. He is fought as a boss twice: first in Peach's Castle during the past and later in Thwomp Caverns.
